L’Abbaye du Palais is located in the department Creuse (23) in the Limousin area amidst the green heart of France.

Le Palais is located on the D 940A. This used to be the official road from Bourganeuf to Guéret, but is now the tourist route.(Please don’t mix it up with the D940 or the D940B! ) For GPS-owners our coordinates are:  longitude 01°46'09'' East and latitude 45°59'36'' North.  

Getting to l'Abbaye du Palais could not be easier. As well as the Ferry routes, there are flights from Liverpool, Stansted and Southampton into Limoges which is our nearest airport. There is also a passenger rail service from London Waterloo to Limoges Benedictins.

By car
By car it takes about 6 hours to drive to l'Abbaye du Palais from Calais (tunnel). Click here for directions.
By Ferry

By air
From Paris, there are 4 flights a day from Orly or Roissy Charles de Gaulle airports. Stansted London-Limoges cheap flights (Ryan Air) daily from April-October and four times a week from November-March.  Check the websites www.aeroportlimoges.com, Flybe, or Ryanair.
By rail / by tunnel
Frequent departures from Paris (Gare d’Austerlitz) and Toulouse. It is a comfortable 3 hour ride. From England check websites Euro Tunnel and
Passenger Rail.
By bus
There is a cheap bus connection within Europe. Check the Eurolines website: www.eurolines.co.uk.
Transfer
On demand we will pick you up at the airport, the train station or bus terminal in Limoges on arrival and take you back there at the end of your stay.
