Library,
billiards |
| In
one of the rooms on the ground floor of the main building the library is
located. With over 1,500 titles (English, French and Dutch) you will not
have to worry about being bored on a rainy day.

Pet
farm |
| Our
‘livestock’ consists of ponies, chickens, bunnies, dwarf ewes, cats
and of course our dog Uka. Children can make a ride (under supervision)
on the back our pony Anaïs in the horse riding area. |
|
| Piano |
| In
the Grand Salon you will find a well tuned Yamaha piano. We encourage
you to show us your talent! |
|
|
|
Swimming
pool |
| Just
before summer 2008 we opened a brand new swimmingpool. The pool is
heated, 20m long and the depth varies from 25 cm - 1.60m. The pool is open from
May to September.

| Bar |
| l‘Abbaye
du Palais has a full license for alcohol . Of course the bar offers a
wide range of (non)alcoholic beverages.

Trampoline |
| A
big hit for all ages. Please always keep the safety regulations in mind
for optimal jumping fun!

| Soccer,
Volleyball, Badminton, Crocket |
| Different
fields have been laid out to play a game of football, volleyball and
badminton. The required playing materials can be borrowed from us.

|
|
|
Bicycle rent |
| We
have some bicycles available for rent. The area is very suitable for
cycling trips, if you are in good condition. Also for rent :
children’s bikes and a ‘trailer’bike with gears (see photo). |

|
Bocce Ball court
(Pétanque or Jeu de Boule)
|
| In
the shade of the century old linden you will find a bocce ball court.
Very flat and on a thick layer of special sand. The balls can be
borrowed from us. Or did you bring your own set of balls? |
|
|
|
Play
set, sand pit
|
| For
the little ones. With climbing rails, two towers, rope bridge, swings,
climbing rope and slide. For the sand pit there are buckets, scoops and
cars. And for the parents picnic tables are at hand.

|
Table tennis,
foosball, sjoelbak
|
| In
a covered area these games are set up from May-October. Please ask us
for balls, table tennis bats, and any other equipment you may need.
|
|
|
|
Skelters
and little bicycles |
| For
use on the domain only, children can choose from different sizes of
bicycles, pedalled tractor, and skelters, among which a super fast BERG
skelter with double seats and trailer.
|
|
| Chess
table, games |
| In
the bar you can find the chess table. An enormous amount of fames for
all ages can be found in the library. Please clean up after playing the
game.

|
|
Climbing tree,
tree-house
|
| There
are several trees that can be climbed, but there is one tree in which a
tree house is under construction. Are there any dads that would be
willing to give us a helping hand?

|
| Dress
up chest |
| Girls!
If you would like Saskia to take down the dress-up chest from the attic,
be sure to give her your best and most adorable smile. Will it be a
fashion show or is one of the children willing direct a real play? |

|
|
Picnic tables
|
| Spread
through out the park are picnic tables, where you can enjoy French
goodies and a nice glass of chilled ‘rosé’. We would love to
prepare a well stocked picnic basket for you, including plates, glasses,
cutlery, and a pretty picnic cloth. Please inform us one day in advance. |
