That the Creuse offers a wonderful opportunity for hiking goes without saying. But did you know that the quiet roads are a real treat for the sporty cyclist? Apart from that, hundreds of miles of ‘off the road tracks’ have been laid out for ATB bikers. There is a number of light sports bikes (18 gear) available for rent.

All information on hiking and biking tours is available on the spot. Not only (survey)maps, on which all the tours are clearly indicated but also info on length, differences in height, duration, flora, fauna, and other objects of interest.  

Stay in a former Abbey

You will cook and stay at a former 12^th century abbey, situated on a 5,5 ha domain. The rooms are decorated with French antique furniture and have a bathroom with antique bath on legs, separate shower, toilet and wash basin.

Programm

At the day of arrival your room is available from 4 p.m. Early enough for a short stroll. In the evening you'll enjoy a 3-course dinner at the table d’hôtes (not on wednesdays!). The next days several walking-tours in Creuses' stunning nature will be on the menu. At lunchtime these walk pass by a tipically french auberge or we have provided a well stocked knapsack before you leave.
